Here are six trends you should consider if you have a podcast or are thinking of launching one.  
  1. Live streaming
According to Dacast (2022), the live streaming market is estimated to grow to $223.98 billion by 2028. This kind of content has been proven to be highly engaging, so the next logical step of podcasters is to host a live show. Broadcasting a live podcast can help increase engagement since you allow listeners to interact with your content in a live manner, connecting with them in a way that recorded sessions don’t allow. You can try a Q&A session, contests, debates, or a simple live conversation to interact with your audience and make them part of the content.

Podcasts have been around for quite some time now, growing in popularity, so it is no surprise that listeners have high expectations. Furthermore, higher quality means a better chance of standing out from other podcasters.
