6 Instagram Hacks You Should Know
Instagram is the brightest star in the world of social media. With an extensive following from around the world, it has proven itself highly valuable for most businesses. Large chunks of traffic are driven towards the business, boosting customer engagement while significantly magnifying and bolstering brand recognition. When it comes to having a successful Instagram profile, there are a few tips that can help add that extra oomph to your page: 1. Have Multiple Links in Your Instagram Bio It’s common for a business to take advantage of the link in bio option, but sometimes one link isn’t enough. Luckily there’s a way around it. Use a third party website like Linktree. It’s free to sign up and use, and you can set as many links as you want. 2. Add Line Breaks Into Your Bio or Captions Give your captions and bio an extra clean look by successfully adding line breaks to them. Don’t write your caption or bio directly within Instagram. Here’s how to do it:
  1. Write your caption or bio in your phone’s Notes app
  2. Between each line add [              ] pressing the enter key in between the brackets
  3. Copy and paste the caption or bio into Instagram app
3. Gain New Followers by Reposting Customer Photos Customer photos are the social proof that every business needs. If a customer posts a picture or video with your product, it shows their audience that someone they know likes your brand. It also showcases your brand to a new audience. Always credit the person you’re tagging. You didn’t take the picture or video. It’s not your content. When you credit the people you post, over time you’ll start building relationships with them. Search your tagged photos to find these gems. 4. Run Contests to Gain Instagram Followers  Everyone loves a good prize or win — whether it’s a gift card, a free service, or entry to a special event. Hosting a giveaway or contest is always a good way to drum up attention on your account. Include rules that call for entrants to tag a friend and make sure they both follow your page. This will help grow your following organically. 5. Use Hashtags in Instagram Stories for More Views Did you know that you can add up to 10 hashtags for each your Instagram story posts? By adding an Instagram hashtag to your story, you’re giving your content an added chance to be seen by new audiences. Most Instagram geo-location tags and hashtags have their own Stories attached to them, which means they could appear on the Explore Page. 6. Share Someone Else’s Post or Stories in Yours  Found an Instagram post that you love and want to share with your audience? Now you can do it with Instagram Stories! All you have to do is tap on the arrow button below the post you would like to share, and select “Add post to your Story.” This will then open up Instagram Stories with the post you would like to share in the center of the image. You can then add text, GIFs, stickers, and hashtags as normal. If it’s a story you’ve been tagged in by a customer or visitor you’ll see the “Add this to your story” option while you view it.
